1996
A Shared Vision
During the 1996 Daytona 500, Eddie Hamann met professional race car driver John Andretti. The two quickly became friends and realized they shared a vision: combine the excitement and legacy of the Andretti racing name with a high-quality family entertainment destination.
1999
Andretti Thrill Park is Born
They opened Andretti Thrill Park in Melbourne, Florida, an outdoor family entertainment center featuring Go-karts, Mini golf, Arcade games, Laser tag, Bumper boats, and more. The park proved there was strong demand for a motorsports-themed entertainment destination.
2001
The First Andretti Indoor Karting & Games Opens
After the success of the outdoor park, Hamann believed the concept could evolve into a premium indoor entertainment venue that would operate year-round regardless of weather, attract corporate events and conventions, offer upscale food and beverage, and provide high-end karting alongside other attractions. Hamann and John Andretti opened the first Andretti Indoor Karting & Games corporate location in Roswell, Georgia. By then, additional members of the Andretti family had become involved with the business.
2015
A New Age
The brand opened the Marietta, Georgia location, marking the first major evolution of the Andretti Indoor Karting & Games brand with the introduction of high-performance electric karts. This transition delivered a quieter, cleaner, and more premium indoor racing experience, enhancing guest comfort while setting a new standard for the brand's future locations.
2024 - PRESENT
Growth & Expansion
After several years refining its operating model, Andretti Indoor Karting & Games launched an aggressive expansion strategy, opening new locations across Arizona, Oklahoma, Kansas, Illinois, and North Carolina, while significantly growing its presence in Texas. This marked the brand's transformation into a rapidly expanding national entertainment destination.
